Led by Mr. Lam Nam, PPIG’s top management delegation including the CEO and the CRO (Chief Representative Officer in the Philippines) made a courtesy visit to Mr. Jose Rene D. Almendras and Mr. Ramon J.P. Paje, the newly appointed Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary, on Aug 11th and 12th respectively.

The delegation reported to Sec. Almendras and Sec. Paje on the progression of PPIG’s oil and gas as well as coal projects in the Philippines. Both Secretaries extended their warm welcome to the delegation, and spoke highly of the project status of PPIG. Moreover, they offered to consistently support PPIG with its projects in the Philippines.

The Philippine government, further stated by both Secretaries, hails foreign investments especially in the infrastructure sectors energy and mining resources. Sec. Almendras and Sec. Paje conveyed their appreciations for foreign investors’ contributions to the Philippines, and their willingness in helping the foreign investments to the largest extent.
