The Lab possesses advanced international equipment and technical research capability on geophysical exploration and geochemical testing, thus gains some particularly leading and effective techniques. For example, with respect to geophysical exploration we have GeoZenix PSTM/PSDM software which is independently developed by the lab, field acquisition software and some other techniques such as precise imaging of complex terrain, high resolution processing, statics correction of model method, multiple-well constrained inversion, forward lattice gas model, etc., all of which play significant roles in scientific research and manufacturing. Furthermore, in terms of the geochemistry test, the Lab successively equipped with several advanced large analysis testing equipments and established complete oil & gas geochemistry analysis system, of which HC isotope and rare gas isotope measuring and testing techniques have reached international leading level.
A. Geophysical Instruments and Equipments
The Lab has established a strong computer system with a complete set of peripheral equipments, which centers on Shuguang high-performance PC-cluster with 512 CPU and two sets of IBMP650 parallel computers and includes other 4 large servers, 20 workstations and a 35TB high-speed disk array in addition. The company has the most advanced Omega and Geocluster processing systems, with refracted wave statics correction software from Promax and Green Mountain, moreover possesses many other advanced seismic interpretation, inversion and geological research software.
B. Oil and Gas Geochemical Test System
According to the needs of its scientific research tasks, after continually introducing advanced instruments and equipments, independently developing relevant experimental apparatuses and set up compatible experimental techniques, the lab establishes progressively oil and gas geochemical test system which includes sample pre-processing, gas components analysis, stable isotope analysis, noble gas isotope analysis, organic components analysis and element phase analysis.
